Immortal Mirth

Sometimes I dream of my past life as a stone carver. Jade is very tough but I have a fountain of patience and silently observe the material change so gradually, almost imperceptibly, like a plant growing. 

I’m interested in materials that operate on timelines outside of the human scope. I’d like to slow down and experience longer cycles of time, or maybe speed way up.

Immortal Mirth is an EP of 5 tracks released via NAGA in 2024. The tracks draw upon personal experiences in family systems, ruminations on the material qualities of jade and metal, and human fragility in the scope of universal time.
